We talked up the trip with Maddox- telling him he must go see Santa so he can tell him what he wants and that sitting on his lap is fun. Maddox is totally pumped- can't wait to sit on his lap! There will be no crying and Joey will show him the way....
Of course, there's a line. We stand in line and watch as all the kids take photos with Santa and they're all dressed in matching outfits. We patientlly wait and wait.....and when we get up there, we actually have the option of taking our own photo with our own camera. Of course, I didn't bring it. Anyway, we get up there and Joey hops right on Santa with his list memorized from A to Z. Maddox starts screaming and begging for Joe. I insist that it's Joe's turn to get in the photo- I had to be in it last year. So, Joe gets in the photo and everyone is smiling and then....Maddox picks his nose! And, everyone in line saw it and started laughing. And, I started yelling at the photographer, "Take it now! Take it now!" How awesome would that be? A photo of Maddox picking his nose on Santa's lap! Anyway, we didn't get it in time but we did get this great photo!
