The day had arrived. Their was hair to be done. And, champagne to be drank.

There was a last-minute trip to Wal-Mart for an umbrella...and one hair bonnet.

There were faces to put on...

And, the final touches to make one beautiful bride.

And, we learned that rain will bring wealth or fertility. So, we decided it was much better to sing in the rain, than drown in your sorrows.

But, mostly, there was one little boy. Who practically stole the show. Who had a mama who constantly said to herself, "This is not HIS day- it's hers. This is not about the ringbearer. It's about the bride." Breathe in. Breathe out. Quit staring at him so much. Get it under control.

And, two little flower girls. Who loved him. And, bossed him. And, a mama who told him, "This is how it will be the rest of your life, so get used to it now."

And, well, the camera would just not stop. There possibly could not be enough batteries or enough memory to snap every adorable photo of him. But, I must try. I owe it to him, right?

And, everyone wanted in on the action. Uncle Jeff and Aunt Heather practically wanted to claim him as their own.

And, Daddy was proud. He walked down the aisle like a champ...but stopped to wave at his cousin, Gracie. And, then threw his pillow and bounced it up and down, and swung it around by a string he pulled out of it. But, he made it.

Okay, I just have to show you one more. Stinkin cute. Ridiculously cute. Unbearably cute. I don't think Webster's has come up with a word to describe him this cute. Someday, my sweet thing, you will steal some girl's heart and she will not be able to get enough of you. And, I will know exactly how she feels.

Back to the bride and groom (if I must)....there were special dances between grandpa and granddaughter.

There was a very happy groom who had business to tend to....

And, a dancing Bruggeman family who rarely left the dance floor....

And, a little boy who despite his older brother's role could not be forgotten...

And, a mother and daughter who could not be more beautiful...

And, a family deliriously happy to be together and celebrate Dean and Ashley's happiness...

Oh, come on, like I'd finish this without one more shot of this little guy. He zonked. He crashed. His mission was accomplished. He had earned himself an early exit from the big wedding.

Here's to Ashley and Dean. Wealth, fertility AND happiness- may the rain bring you all three! Thanks for letting us be a part of YOUR day (and Joey's!)
