This fall has been a bit crazy with 1 kid going to school all day, 1 kid going to school part-time, and one baby going to daycare. Having your kids in three different places at one time can be a little stressful with pick-ups and drop-offs and everything in between! Poor Saylor's whole schedule revolves around the boys' schedules! Here's a little bit that has been going on at our house!
Joey played his first on his first Dowling Catholic League football team! It was fun watching him play with the kids in his class and getting to know the other boys! Joe coached and really enjoyed all the boys and watching them grow!
At school, Joey had conferences and everything seems to be going smoothly! Recess is filled with basketball mostly, and his favorite class is P.E.
Maddox had his Halloween party at school and is busy learning sight words and learning to read! It's fun to watch him attempt to read and start to put things together. Conferences are next week, so fingers crossed!
We've been cheering for Michigan, of course, nearly every weekend!
And, we carved pumpkins and went trick or treating with some of our friends!
And, lastly, we have welcomed another baby GIRL into our family! Tony and Kelly had a baby girl on October 23rd!! We are so happy to have another girl....the pattern for our family has gone like this:
Boy, Boy, Boy, Boy, Boy, Girl, Girl, Girl.....I'd be happy to keep the pattern going like this - maybe we'll have a boys vs. girls basketball team someday!
Nina Katherine Coppola is adorable - she looks a little like her brothers and has her own little look to her, too! Joe is honored to be her Godfather, too, so that's pretty special! I got to see Nina last week, and I got to bring the boys back to Des Moines for a weekend! So, that's been really fun! It's just really amazing how much and how fast they grow in one year....looking at Saylor and then looking at her seems like a lifetime in between! Here's a little peek at my new sweet little niece:
Lots of fun times and memories this fall, but the time has truly gone too fast! Lucky for me, my parents are coming to help here and there, which provides some much-needed relief and some time for me to get my errands done, and tend to things that so often get neglected with two working parents! And, the kids get some extra lovin' too! I'm so thankful for the help on both sides of our family- we are so lucky!!
Happy Fall Y'All!
