A few Thanksgiving moments...
Proud parents of Remsy Coppola, and proud siblings of Maize Coppola. Maize is Joe's parents' dog. Remsy is showing her the ropes of hunting....and as you can see, they did good!

Thursday night we went to my aunt and uncle's in Polk City and had a nice time catching up with family. And, on Friday, we had my Grandma Remsburg over to our house for pizza as Jenny and Jon drove back home through town! Grandma insisted on ordering 4 pizzas "just in case"- I love how much she loves food. It's one of my favorite things about her.

On Saturday morning, we took family photos for Cary and Ali, in exchange for them taking ours. They turned out good. And, then we went to the Christmas Tree Farm with Bobbi and Joe and crew, and went on a horse ride, oohhed and awwed at real trees (but stayed true to our fake tree at home), and visited Santa.

Joey hopped right up and told him he wanted a Nintendo DS and then listed out about 19 games he wanted to go with. Maddox just wanted me but then yelled out "Leapster" from about 15 ft. away. Davis told Santa he wanted a Transformer Bumblebee and Bennett never cried once. And, Carter, was the classic "cry on Santa's lap" pose that we all know way too well. I wish I would have gotten a photo of that one! When we got home, Joey told me Carter wasn't going to get anything for Christmas because he never asked Santa for anything. And, he also told Maddox that he was going to get coal for Christmas. Ahhh, the spirit of Christmas.
And, we went to "The Blind Side" tonight and we loved it! A must-see feel-good movie for all generations!
It was a low-key Thanksgiving filled with naps, food, and a little Christmas spirit. My husband is already getting sick of the Christmas music....or it could be of my singing. I'm not sure.
The countdown is on- let the fun begin!
