Basketball Wrap-Up

Basketball season is finally over! We're always ready for it to start....and always ready for it to end.

Joey's team went 32-13.
Maddox's team went 35-16.

Highlights include:
Joey had 4 3-pointers in one game; he had a buzzer beater in one game; he had a free throw to win it in one game; he had a couple of 20-point games; Joey's team won the state tournament; Joey's team beat a couple of good teams; Joey had a great performance at the state tournament
Maddox made his first 3-pointers during games; he had one game with 2 3-pointers; he started dribbling through his legs; he started commanding the floor better; Maddox's team beat an undefeated amazing Kingdom Hoops team; Maddox had a great performance against KH

We also had a few "low lights" of the season but no need to mention those.... : ) Those are mentioned enough in the car ride on the way home from games!

This year, Joey will be playing a small amount of spring/summer ball with Kingdom Hoops. It will be good for him to take instruction from a different coach, good for Joe to sit and watch from the stands, and good for him to play with different kids and in a different role....we'll see how it goes...jury is still out! Maddox is ready for baseball season to get going!
