Winter and Spring This and That

There were a few photos and happenings that I couldn't let go by.....

My sister moved into a really great house! We all got together....for something....I'm not sure what.

I had a sad moment when I realized that Joey and I are wearing the same size shoes. It was one of those days when I just couldn't believe how big he is getting....
We tried spaghetti squash. We tried it the garlic parmesan way and the marinara way...and well, no one really loved it. And, as you can see by the photo, Joey REALLY struggled with it.

We dog-sat Marley, played video games, loved on Copa, kicked off baseball season and had Tony, Bennett and Nina stay here....just a few odds and ends

But, the "big news" in our house is that Saylor started gymnastics! She LOVES it! She smiles ear to ear every single practice! Everyone else in her class started in the fall, and Saylor started in March so I would have assumed, she would have been behind- but she popped right in there and did fine! Of course, there are some things the other girls know how to do more, but it's not blatantly obvious or anything. And, she's very brave- she tries everything without hesitation!

But, the very first practice, this girl (who stands 3 inches above Saylor at least), looked at her and said "WHO ARE YOU?" And, Saylor said "I'm Saylor!" and smiled big. And, then the girl looked at the teacher and said "WHY DO WE HAVE NEW KIDS?" and the teacher said "cuz new kids are awesome!" and Saylor smiled and walked right in with everyone! I secretly went out and slashed the tires of the little girls' mom, but other than that, we moved on from that moment!

She literally counts the number of days until gymnastics every week! So, let's hope the enthusiasm sticks around!

Spring has sprung....time for warm weather, landscaping, pool prep, baseball and more! Bring it on!
