Our bathroom

I keep meaning to blog about the progress of our bathroom!

Let's go back to May 2010. Here are some shots of our bathroom when we bought the house!

Now, let's go to May 2011 - when we got rid of the dreaded purple and violet and did a few small updates here and there to bring the bathroom back to reality!

And, now to May 2014....we found the shower full of mold and decided to haul over our bathroom - this will be the final "after" photos! We absolutely love it - so much storage, so much more room, the bathtub is so much more functional, the shower is much more aesthetically pleasing, the vanity is so much taller and more useful and the whole room just makes me happy! Joe made the stacked shelves above the bathtub which I LOVE!

What we did learn from this process: there is a different "guy" for everything. There's a tile guy, a bathtub guy, a vanity guy, a glass guy, a plumbing guy, an electrician guy (we call him 'dad')....I mean, it's a lot of work coordinating all the different "guys" and pieces to this bathroom but it was well worth it!

 This bathroom has been through a lot but it was ALL worth it! : ) Thank you, mold in the shower, for forcing my husband's hand!
