Good Friends

Here is a picture of our extended family of Wes, Amy, and Lydia. Joe and Wes were high school enemies on the court (Hoover vs. Dowling), but college teammates and roommates at Simpson. Wes and Amy got married a few years ago and they had Lydia almost two years ago. Lydia is an addition to my list of "the girls I will never have so I will take on as my own, do their nails, and take them prom-dress shopping." We are so blessed that Wes and Amy trust us enough to keep her overnight several times a year....the boys can't wait for Lydia's "sleepovers"! Lydia loves the boys, loves bathtime at our house, loves the puppy....and well, she kind of rules the roost when she's here....even Joe melts every time she comes near him!
We are looking forward to many fun times with the Burrells.....and watching the boys and Lydia play basketball from the stands together in about 10 years!!
