We played in the leaves with our neighbor's kids, Ashton and Dylan....
We went trick or treating with my friend, Georgia's family- Carson and Gracie.
We went to Joey's "Fall Festival" - which is the word for "Halloween Party" these days. Joey is in this picture with his best buddy, Max (the french fries!). Max's mom told me at school last week, "Max is really shy and hardly ever talks but when he sees Joey, he's a different kid! He can't get enough of Joey!" Wow, to think that Joey has made another kid act crazy like him sure does make me feel proud!
We cheered on Dowling in the playoffs last week and last night! We have three cousins on the team- Chuckie Coppola, Jason McMurray and Alex McMurray! The boys love yelling their names out. We hope they make it to the Dome- and hope the Southern Cal Mustangs do too!
Joe and I decided to go to a Halloween Party last minute. We were going to go and then couldn't come up with costumes, so then we bailed. Then, last minute, Joe said- "Let's just go as white trash!" So, he wore some kind of neon shirt and cut off the sleeves, put on a mullet, cut-off jean shorts, tattoos and work boots. I didn't know what to do so I googled on the Internet and it said cut-off jeans, pregnant belly, baby on one hip, tattoos, lots of make-up, and ugly shoes- so that's what I did. And, then I read on the Internet, "Be careful of dressing up like this as you could hurt someone's feelings." Yeah, I guess if you hang out with white trash you might hurt their feelings, but I generally don't think white trash dresses up as white trash for a Halloween Party, so I think we were safe. Oh, and as an added touch, we drove our Grand Am, which truly does fit the white trash part!
I gotta say that walking around with a pregnant belly did not make me desire being pregnant again. In fact, I think the minute I put that pillow in my stomach, it made my feet swell, my heart burn, and my arms triple in size!!!
And, here's our little Maddox - our future Wolverine football player! Whenever he'd see an Iowa Football Player dressed up, he'd go up to him and go "Iowa- BLAHHHHH!" and act like he was throwing up. He does that when he sees an Iowa Hawkeye flag, too. Daddy was so proud.

Needless to say, my Cabbage Patch Doll, Joanne, got used more than it ever has since the 2nd grade. Poor thing- with two boys, she's been shoved in the closet for years now. I gave her extra love all night long.
And, while we were trashed out, my kids were trick or treating with their cousins, Gracie and Maya. Here they are- a Wolverine, a duck, a Michigan football player and a pirate. They are adorable! They also carved pumpkins and apparently, Uncle G made one pumpkin "throw up" its guts, and Maddox has been talking about it ever since.
We've had a lot of fun lately! And, this Friday night, we have a sleepover planned with Davis and Carter! We can't wait!
