Like a Fish!

Swim lessons started this week. We are taking private lessons with the son of a good friend of mine. Here's Carson ready to swim! Carson LOVES to jump in the water- it's his favorite part of lessons! Here's my little fish....he loves swimming!

In just three days, Joey can float by himself over a floater-thingy-bob. He conquered it.

He can wear this cool floater belt that allows him to float, but just enough so he still has to paddle and keep his head up out of the water. He mastered it. And, we had goggles introduced to us last night. Joey has always worn goggles for pool "play" time, but this time, he wore them when he jumped in, when he put his head in the water, to search for "treasures" in the pool. He dominated the goggles.

The lessons only last 30 minutes so the time goes by really fast! But, so far, so good! He's making progress- and last night, he even swam about 3 strokes with nothing on him at all. Makes a mommy nervous AND proud. I think if I start feeding him 15 egg whites, 12 bowls of cereal, and 10 protein bars a day, he may just have an edge on Michael Phelps. Minus the marijuana.

I heard the Marijunana makes him swim better.
Also, I am so glad I clicked here because I get to see that "JENNY BISHOP" wrote "Holly, this is Jenny". And that is funny stuff. BTW, this is Heather.
