Let's go to the lake!

I think this is the latest trip to the lake we've taken.....there just didn't seem to be a big break in the calendar from sports, work, and other visitors to the lake! So, off we went in August!

This year, the other family members on the trip were: Larry and Paula, Bobbye and Mike, Bobbi and Joe, CJ and Anna, Katy and LJ and Abby, Allison and Avery, Sean and Julie, Andrew, Betsy and Harrison, Alex and Shannon, Nick and a friend, Sam and 3 friends, Betsy's sister and 3 family members, and us five! It was a FULL house to say the least!

The kids loved the time with the cousins and the cousins' friends. All the big kids included my kids in everything so that was probably the best part of the trip. Joe and I prepared our annual ribs meal too!

 I think Maddox catching a Walleye on Burntside was the highlight of our trip this year!

We also got to spend only a couple of hours with Tony and Kelly's crew. We got some great tubing photos from our short time!

Ely is one of my kids' favorite places to be....I love seeing them experience everything together every summer!
