Maddox's 8th Birthday Party- Friends

Maddox had a few of his closest Sacred Heart friends come over for a birthday celebration. We played basketball, freeze tag, some wiffle ball, and just let the kids run around and be crazy. We ate pizza and had rice krispie bars. We did not do gifts (he donated to Courage League Sports) and I did not do favors for the kids either. So, we keep it pretty simple so that we're not stressing about it all.

Maddox is finally starting to find a few friends who have similar interests as him, and a few friends who I can tell that he is connecting with. Maddox is very patient and kind to all of his friends. It's kind of fun watching him interact with them- he is a really good listener, and goes with the flow. He's also very loyal to them- he never speaks unkindly of them, or is bothered by any of their antics. He just sits back and watches the show unfold around him! It's a good quality to have!
