Saylor's Christmas Program

Well, this might have been the highlight of our holidays....Saylor at her Christmas program! Oh- she talked a big game! She told us how she was going to sing REALLY loud, how she was going to wave at us, and smile SO big. Yeah, um, none of that happened. She was so pumped before school, and then she just totally froze on stage. She saw my mom, dad, Ali, Brynny and Lia and literally just stared at us. Meanwhile, everyone around her was having a hay day- singing, waving, clapping, dancing. Saylor- she stood on her circle and did not move! Here's the proof of her pumped and excited for concert:

The funny thing is - after the program, we asked her why she didn't sing and she said "I stood on my yellow spot! We were supposed to walk to the yellow spot and stand there! I never moved!" And, then later Papa Mark asked her why she didn't sing and she yelled "Stop talking about it!" And, when we asked her again later, she said "My friend, Brynny, came and I got nervous." We just laughed the entire program....she literally was like a statue! And, afterwards, she couldn't have been more happy- and she sang her program songs to us all night long! Haha!
