- Celebrated the Annual Remsburg Cousins Weekend. It was "FUNTYMZ". A big shoutout to my cousin who desperately tried to figure out this license plate with no success (um, everyone else got it after approximately 2.5 seconds). As usual, this was the weekend that all of us needed. The one where we talk about everything in life and make each other feel better. As my cousin, Kim, said "I always leave a better person." Yup. We mainly ate, drank, shopped and LAUGHED. The laughter is always the best part. We get it from our Gpa Remsburg. Other memorable moments: the Subway gift bag; Kim's kids were sick; Holly choking on steak; the ride home from Biaggi's; Buffalo Wild Wings drinks and cheering; cheesecake in bed; Holly and Kim jumping cars (and not figuring out how to close the car hoods!)
- Celebrated my husband's birthday. We had three basketball games on the night of his birthday, so it was a bit of a whirlwind but I managed to get him his favorite little cakes and Dutch letters as a treat! We also had a family November birthday celebration at Fuddruckers!
- We went to our first NBA game - it was an exhibition games at Wells Fargo and the boys saw Harrison Barnes play. It was a lot of fun! AND- they got to sit in the front row thanks to some family members who let us switch with them! : )
- We played a lot of basketball! We had some great tournaments, and some great games. We also had some learning experiences and some struggles. But, both boys really love to play- they live for practices and games, so that makes me happy. And, Maddox has gotten some good playing time on Joey's team, too. One of the highlights for Joe and I was when Maddox made a shot off of a Joey assist. Next season will bring new challenges- Maddox will be playing up a grade; and Joey will be playing in some harder tournaments!
In addition, we celebrated Thanksgiving at Brett and Kelly's house, and began to get ready for the crazy month of December!
