A Day at the Zoo!

It was our first week without any school, so I wanted to do something fun with the kids.  I called Gma Phyllis and asked if she'd want to come up to watch Maddox's game and then go to the zoo with us. She had never been to the zoo so she was actually kind of excited. On a whim, I thought I'd see if Heather and Kim were available and they were! Kim's sister was in town so she tagged along- so off we went! 5 adults and 9 kids to the zoo!

The Blank Park Zoo is not huge so that's the good thing about it when you have small kids- you can get around the whole thing in 2 hours and the kids still leave feeling satisfied! The best part about the trip to the Zoo was that my cousin, Kim announced they were expecting their third child- due early January!

It was a fun day and fairly easy! I think my Gma had just as much fun as all the kiddos, too! One thing crossed off our summer to-do list!
