Joey's Birthday Part Two: Cousins Sleepover

We always have VBS on Joey's birthday so Davis is always in town! So, we invited Davis and Carter and Bennett over for a sleepover on Joey's birthday night! We started out by watching Joey play in his last baseball game!

 After the game, we went home and opened presents and ate birthday cookies! He had a few presents from some great aunts and uncles, and presents from us to open up.  We got him a t-shirt, a boat to drive in the pond by our house, and some Ninjago Legos!

After presents, it was bath time, followed by sparklers and glo worms, followed by test-driving the new boat, followed by s'mores! The kids were so good! We've been doing a cousins sleepover for four years and this was the easiest year, by far! They are all just growing up so fast!

We then had to lay down for cartoons and bedtime! Joe didn't think that they would fall asleep in a million years all being together in the living room but they were all out in about five minutes! They were really tired from VBS and everything we did, I think!

In the morning, we got up and ate cinnamon rolls and got dressed for the last day of VBS! It was crazy hat day, as you can see from the photo!

It was a great sleepover and a great way to celebrate Joey's birthday! What a lucky little boy to have his cousins so close! Next year, Brynn may be able to join us if she is potty-trained - and at the rate she seems to be going, I think she'll be there!
