This is Gonna Be a Good Life...

This past Saturday, my friend Leslie got married to Greg Murphy! It was a fun wedding since mom, dad and Heather and Guthrey were all invited, too! Leslie and I became friends through my cousin, Ashley, who went to high school with her. It's nice to have some friends from back home live near you - they know you, they know your parents, they know where you were raised....something about that makes you feel better when you live away from Des Moines.  Since I met Leslie, I've talked her through some doozies of blind dates and tried to keep her hope alive that somewhere there was this incredible guy who would want to marry her! And, one day, I remembered saying, "Some day, you'll look back and you'll laugh at yourself for ever doubting that you would find your husband....".  And, that day came on Saturday! Leslie and Greg are the perfect couple....Leslie brings spontaneity, Greg brings reality; Leslie brings the fun, Greg brings the order; Leslie brings the foot in the mouth, Greg brings the humility; Leslie brings the spunk, Greg brings the silence....it's a match made in heaven!
