Thanks, Uncle Kevin!

Joe's best friend, Kevin, picked my boys up from daycare and surprised them with a trip to Toys R Us. We warned him that he really had no idea what he was getting into but he didn't believe us and braved it on his own.

My boys came home GLOWING. They ran to the door and said, "Mom! He got us this! And, I got this! And, he said we could have this! And, can you believe I got this?" They were talking so fast, I couldn't keep up.

And, I have to give props to Kevin - because they came home with toys that I actually know they will play with....a costume for Joey (surprise!) and a Scooby Doo mystery house for Maddox (who should not have gotten a gift at all). Kevin spent way too much money, but this was probably my favorite birthday memory of Joey's fifth so far!
