Listen, I have to ask myself. Exactly who IS following these trucks into their work area? I mean, is some 80-year-old lady driving and thinking to herself, "Oh, how I would love to see where that person works! I think I'll drive into their work area!" Or, is some teenager thinking, "Hmm, it says "Do Not Follow" so let's follow them! We will be rebels and follow that truck into its work area!" Or, a mom with 3 children is driving along and says, "Gee whiz. I have absolutely nothing else to do, do you kids want to follow this truck into its work area? Let's do it!" And, I wonder how long are people willing to follow these trucks into their work area? I mean, what if their work area is 2 hours away? Do people just keep following them until they get to their work area?
And, on that note of work areas, I mean, what exactly are these people doing in their work areas? I mean, you don't see me driving around with a sign on my car that says "DO NOT follow me into my work area!" Why? I have nothing to hide. Just a desk with lots of work on it. I would actually welcome people to follow me into my work area. When they get here, I will put them to work is what I'll do. But, for some reason, we aren't welcome in their work area. It doesn't seem fair. I wonder if they're smoking weed. Or, running some kind of underground gambling ring. Or, maybe they are stealing online music. Or, maybe it's a gold mine. It has to be something good. Or bad.
I have to say it is tempting for me to follow them lately. I think I would then find out the answer to my question of what purpose their little sign serves and how many people it keeps out of their work area on an average day. I bet its saving lives every day.
