It was a lonely day to be a Wolverine

Sunday, October 11, 2009

Here in Iowa, you're either a Hawkeye or a Cyclone. So, as Wolverines, we're all on our own. And, when you're heading to Iowa's field, you realize just how alone you are. The glares. The stares. The threats. The taunts.

....And, turns out, we were all too deserving of them. However, our seats were awesome. We were right behind the Michigan squad just two rows back. I could smell Tate Forcier's deoderant. So, all and all we still had a good time. But, had we won, these pictures would have been that much sweeter!

But, even when you lose, it's comforting to know that you still come home to this:

And, one little boy who says, "Look mom, I have a pony tail!"
And, another little boy who says, "Mom, wouldn't it be awesome to have a tail???"
Yes, having a tail must be sweet...but, having your tail between your legs against the Iowa Hawkeyes is not so sweet...
