Joe went down to the basement to color WITH the kids. I think he misheard me and thought I said, "ON the kids." Thank God for washable markers, otherwise my husband would still be paying the price.They laughed so hard, I laughed so hard, and when Maddox smiled, his little beard lifted a little and it would just crack me up. And, we sat at dinner this way and I smiled every time I looked up at them!

we've been super sick in our house for the last week---griff was negative for influenza, but seemed to get worse after we went to the dr. office. he managed to pass it around to our whole house...finally getting over the worst of it (hopefully)....there wasn't much to smile at this past week, but even when your kids don't feel well, they still manage to be silly & it helps you get thru the crappy times! Hope your kids are feeling better & thanks for the smile today!
