Look out, Tiger Woods, here we come!

We've been up to just a few things the past few days....

1) We had my cousins, Jon and Kim, and their daughter, Reagan over for supper, along with my sister and her family. We just hung out and ate and socialized basically and had a great time. Reagan was born approximately 12 hours after Maddox so it's always neat to see her and Maddox together, because they're always doing about the same things, except Maddox is just about 7 pounds heavier. It's Frank the Tank versus Reagan the Peanut. Poor Reagan got beat up on a few times by Maddox, but she took it like a pro.

2) We had my friend, Sarah, and her fiance, Jason, and daughter, Aliz over. We were running behind to start the night so as I came to answer the door, I looked like a tornado had hit me - and my house. I felt bad, but reminded myself that true friends don't care what you - or your house- looks like. So, they came on in, while Joe was finishing up bath time with both the boys. I hadn't met Jason before and was truly impressed as he helped me clear the supper table. We chatted easily but was interrupted by Joe yelling "Oh no! Oh no! Oh geez. Joey- get out! get out! Oh my gosh! Maddox, I can't believe you did that!" So, I darted up the stairs thinking that Joe is freaking out over what I was sure was going to be nothing. That nothing turned out to be one of the grossest exhibits of poop in the bathtub I've ever witnessed. You see, I've seen poop in the bath tub 3 times- Davis Jake pooped when he was taking a bath with Joey, Joey has pooped one time in the bathtub, and now Maddox. But, Maddox's poop was ALLLLLL over the bathtub- it was baby poop, not toddler poop (those reading this blog who have a baby and a toddler clearly know the difference). What a disaster. The best part was when I went running back down to the kitchen and said to my friend, Sarah and her fiance who I had just met "You guys wanna see it? C'mon you have to come see it!" Poor Jason. I could tell he was torn - do I go see the poop or do I act like I'm not interested? He came up the stairs and joined in the fun anyway, watched us struggle with our two naked little boys and I'm sure decided that one child was enough for him for a whole lifetime. It was great seeing Sarah and Aliz. She's such a sweet, quiet, non-disruptive little girl.....she didn't know what to do in a house full of boys who want to wrestle, throw things, and run circles around everyone. But, she managed and was adorable. And, it was fun to see my friend Sarah in complete "mom mode".....man, how times have changed. From partying to mommying....what a transition. Here's a picture from a memorable night!

3) We went golfing on Tuesday night with the boys and Joe's parents. If I had known it was so incredibly hot and humid, I probably wouldn't have come up with the whole golfing idea. We were all sweating up a storm. Joey did great the first 3 holes, then sort of lost interest, and then did great the last couple of holes. Maddox mainly played in the cart and crawled on the greens and in the grass. We had to ditch the golf polo due to the heat! It was a fun night- yet exhausting at the same time!

Personalized golf clubs for Joey from Aunt Heather and Uncle G....St. Andrews golf hat from Gma and Gpa Coppola....a J.Crew Golf Polo from Aunt Ali and Aunt Kelly and SpongeBob and Michigan golf balls....all keys to success for a 3-year old on the golf course!
Papa Joe and Daddy hoping they someday have a Tiger on their hands....Buddies for life...I love this photo because I think Joey looks like his daddy here....
Doing what I do best on the golf course....driving the cart! My days as a beer cart girl are finally paying off (See, mom and dad, that wasn't a waste of a good mind and education afterall!)
Have a great weekend!

Good god, if JOey ever golfs with us he's going to think we're poor or something. NO fancy balls, no personalized clubs, no polos or visors. We obviously need to get to work...
